Children

"Children are a heritage from the Lord" (Psalm 127:3).  Jesus welcomed children into His presence: "Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them... (Luke 18:16).  Kid's Harbor is about welcoming our children to know the God who created them for His glory and went so far as to send His own Son to die for their sins.  "In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (I John 4:10).  What a privilege it is to bring good news to the next generation.

Our hope is that the biblical instruction provided through Sunday School and AWANA will be a means to assist parents in their God-given task to bring up their children in the care and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).  In this sense, the Children's Ministry serves a strictly supporting role to encourage and equip parents to disciple their children.
