What it's all about...

The vision behind "Verbum Silens" is that we would live our lives in such a way that people could see how we live and would recognize something different in us, and that in that recognition they would see the difference as Jesus Christ.  The idea is not that we should never share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our words, but that when the people around us see how we live, they cannot help but ask why we are different.

Our prayer is that each of us would live the life to which Christ has called us; a life in which our actions glorify God.  We want to be college-aged adults who are strong to serve Jesus Christ.  By gathering together we strive to encourage one another, build each other up, and work together as brothers and sisters in service and witness for Christ our Lord.

Sunday School

Come join us each Sunday morning for Sunday School (Adult Bible Fellowship) at 9:30 a.m. in Modular 32.  This class follows the same teaching track as the other Adult Bible Fellowship classes, but is geared more specifically for college-aged adults.  In addition to Sunday School, we encourage you to come early or stay late for one of the Worship Services at
8 a.m. or 11 a.m.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

We meet each Wednesday evening at 8:30 p.m. in "The Lounge " at MEBC for a time of fellowship and Bible study.  During this time we like to dig deep into the Word of God and it involves a lot of group discussion as we “work out our faith with trembling”.   We would love to have you join us!
