Ministries

Metro East provides s ministries for all age groups in an effort to help Christ-followers grow in godliness, deepen their relationships with other believers, encourage and equip them for service and leadership in the church, and promote a passion to spread the Gospel to the world.  To learn more about our ministries, click on the links below:

Ministry Teams

The purpose of the ministry teams of Metro East is to help us fulfill our purpose as a church and to ensure that we are good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us through prayer, Godly counsel, and wise administration.

Nominating Team

The Nominating Team's responsibility is to nominate church members to serve on the various teams in the coming year.

Personnel Team

The Personnel Team serves the staff of Metro East by offering encouragement, counsel, and accountability.  The Personnel Team assists the pastor and congregation in matters of hiring and terminating staff.

Finance Team

The Finance Team gives counsel to and helps direct the church in all financial matters.  It operates with a unified budget and keeps track of all expenditures.

Trustees

There are three trustees who serve Metro East at three-year intervals.  The trustees are the legal representatives of the church.  They hold in trust all church property.  They act only in accord with the will of the church body.

Property Team

The Property Team ensures that we are good stewards of the physical resources God has blessed us with.  They help monitor the condition of our grounds and facilities.

Hospitality Team

Our Fellowship and Refreshment Team helps ensure that we are fully stocked with all we need for church fellowships and meals.  They help Metro East be a hospitable church.

Ladies Ministry Team

The Ladies Ministry Team works with the church staff to structure an effective ministry of prayer, fellowship, and Bible Study designed specifically to the needs of women.

Missions/Ministry Team

The Missions/Ministry Team helps ensure that Metro East is dedicating both financial and human resources to help fulfill the Great Commission.  They set goals for special missions offerings, final local ministries for our involvement, and help promote mission trips.
