Operation Christmas Child

Metro East Goal: 500 boxes

Once again this year there are two great holiday missions opportunities for MEBC to participate in.  The first is Operation Christmas Child, where we will ordinary shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world.  Our goal this year is to collect 500 boxes!  We would like for boxes to be turned in by November 4, but the absolute deadline is November 18.  This is a great missions project for families.  What a great way to help out other kids and reach them with the Gospel!  Look in the OCC bulletin inserts on Sundaymornings for ideas on what to include.  Remember to pray for the child who will receive your shoebox.  Click here to learn more!

The other exciting missions opportunity is the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering....

National Goal: $165 million

Metro East Goal: $40,000

This special offering will be received on Sundays until January 6.  All of the money will go to support our International Mission Board missionaries.  Be praying now about what God would have you give this year.
