You're Invited to Join us!
If you have a desire to joyfully serve and help lead our church in God-centered worship, we would love for you to join us. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday night during the school year from 7:30-8:30pm in the Fellowship Hall (Room 138B). Childcare is provided! Please contact Jason if you have any questions or would like more info.
Who are we?
The Metro East Adult Worship Choir exists to glorify God and minister to the body through leading His church in God-centered worship. We desire to use the gifts He has graciously given us to point people to Jesus. We exist to be used by God to help people direct their worship to God and celebrate who He is and what He has done.
Our choir consists of Christ-following adults who desire to joyfully use their the gifts God has graciously given them in humble service to God for His glory, while sharing the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ through music.
The following are distinctives of our worship choir:
- It's not about us; it is all about God and His glory.
- It's not primarily about performance; it is primarily about worship.
- It's not about being impressive; it is about a passion for God.
- It's not about aquaintanceship; it is about community.
- It's not about momentary emotion; it is about eternal significance.
- It's not about competition; it is about servant-leadership.
- It doesn't view talent as primary; it does view character and faithfulness as primary.
Weekly Rehearsals
Choir rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 during the Spring semester (January-May) and Fall semester (August-December). Childcare is provided.
