What We Dream About
We dream of a ministry where students have...
God-Centeredness
God is the one that we orbit our lives around. His heart and his fame are the desires of our hearts. Isaiah 26:8
Authentic Faith
That a student would own their own walk with God (saving faith) and would live an authentic life that is consistent with what they say they believe. Being Real.
Intimacy with Jesus
That a student would have a close, abiding relationship with Jesus, which is fostered through time in God's Word, prayer (John 15:7 Abide / Pray) and worship (Obedience - Worship Romans 12:1).
Understanding of Grace
That a student would understand their salvation is possible only because of God's grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) and that they would let what God has done for them impact how they view (treat) themselves and others.
Biblical Worldview
That a student would replace intuition with revelation, which would lead to a right understanding of God's nature and character as well as a right view of our world as seen through the lens of Scripture (eternal perspective, life as a spiritual battle, right expectation of what it means and look like to be "blessed by God", etc.).
Recognition That This Life Is Not Your Own
That a student would put others before themselves and use their spiritual gifts to serve the Body of Christ in creative ways (stewardship, unselfish behavior).
A Love for the Lost
That a student would make a commitment to spiritually uncommitted people both in their circle of influence and around the world (Evangelism and Missions).
Deep Relationships
That a student would desire and pursue a deep connection with people which leads to healthy friendships that "spur one another on toward love and good deeds" (Hebrews 10:24).
