Youth
Weekly Programs
Our programs are designed to help students understand and live out the Great Commandments and the Great Commission. We teach and program with our values in mind and hope that everything we do can be traced back to them - because they are the goal of our student ministry. The descriptions below will give you a general understanding of how the individual program pieces fit into the larger ministry puzzle.
Sunday School: 9:30am or 11:00am (6th - 12th grade)
Youth Sunday School is an opportunity to teach the Bible to students at every level in their journey with God. In the 9:30 service we typically meet as a large group to introduce the lesson and then divide into smaller groups by grade and gender for discussion and application. At 11:00 the number of students is much smaller and we generally stay together as a "group." Meet our Leaders.
Sunday Evening Small Groups:
We know that students need an opportunity to connect with a small group of peers and be loved and supported by an adult leader who knows them well. To reach this end, we have small groups for students grade 7-12 that meet on Sunday evenings during the school year (6th grade students attend AWANA on Sunday evenings). Small groups are broken down by grade and gender and meet in church members’ homes for fellowship and study. Throughout the year these small groups are also involved in community ministry projects. An adult leader with a heart for guiding and shepherding students meets with each small group.
Wednesday PM Bible Study:
Wednesday nights provide a great opportunity for students to come together to fellowship, worship, and be taught God’s Word. Our hope is that students would leave Wednesday night with a better idea of, and more desire to live, the way God wants them to live. Encourage your student to come for this age-appropriate teaching and a time of connection.
During the school year High School students meet in “The Lounge” and Middle School students meet separately in the AWANA room. Beginning May 21st, High School and Middle School students will meet together, in “The Lounge”, for the summer.
