City On A Hill*

There are several metaphors that Jesus used to describe His people. Among the most compelling is found in Matthew chapter five, where Jesus compares His followers to a city set upon a hill that cannot be hidden. The church is the fulfillment of the promise of God made long ago that His people would be a light to the nations.

In the Fall of 2004, Pastor Todd Pruitt preached this series of messages at Metro East that call attention to certain priorities that are non-negotiable for the church. They are summed up in this simple statement of vision:

Body Building - How God Grows His Church*
