Deacons

Fellow member of Metro East, The deacons are charged with benevolence ministry to members of the congregation  and help organize the physical ministry when needed. However, we need your help in this ministry to bring to our attention those who may need help and your recommendation as to how they may be helped. Usually when physical ministry (i.e., home or auto repair or similar) we may call upon members of the congregation to assist or contract with a member or business. We don't believe deacons are the sole ministers in these areas and endeavor to share the work of ministry to those of the flock. With that being understood, we strive to be of assistance where the Lord allows. You may contact a deacon in person, always the first choice, or call, or as a last resort utilize this email to advise about a member who may need our assistance monetarily, physically or spiritually.
